play where you live

SPRING AND SUMMER PROGRAMMING UPDATES

Due to COVID-19, we sadly had to cancel our spring programming. This included our Youth Playmaking Bootcamp collaboration with the Mississippi Mills Youth Centre and the Almonte Tree Committee Earth Day Celebrations as well as our presentation of Countries Shaped Like Stars in Almonte and at the Ottawa International Children's Festival.  We hope to continue our relationship with the Youth Centre when we can all be in the same room together. Countries Shaped Like Stars will hopefully be rescheduled for next year.

Registration is on hold for our Summer Camps in Almonte. We will let you know as soon as we can if they will run. Info HERE

We hope to be in a room with you soon!

In October 2019, 50 Community members age 10-65 performed 2 sold out evenings of plays about the Climate. We fundraised $2300 for local environmental initiatives including $1000 to the Almonte Tree-planting committee, and $1300 towards the work done by our local Climate Action Network.

This project was made possible, in part, by SPARC Supporting Performing Arts in Rural and Remote Communities through their Collaborative Community Initiatives fund.
